Now, don’t get us wrong we love hearing from you and we are more than happy to answer all of your questions!
That being said we also realize that your time is precious, and if there is anything we can do you save you a little time, then we feel it’s out duty to do it (that’s just the nice kind of people that we are!)
So without further delay, we present our answers to our most frequently asked questions.
Will you provide an Estimate?
We can provide an estimate of charges based on the cubic yardage of your junk or on an itinerary of the items to be removed, if you have either of those. If you don’t, it’s no big deal as our staff are all experienced enough to be able to supply an estimate based on whatever information you do have. The more information you can supply at this stage of course, the more accurate your estimate will be!
Moving beyond the initial point of contact, we also suggest that our staff pop out to see you before a job begins if this is convenient. This will allow us to provide an even more accurate estimate, as well as allow our staff to size up the job itself, and ensure that the appropriate resources are assigned to you.
I’ve found someone cheaper…
Well, that happens sometimes. Also that’s not a question, but we’ll press on.
We of course always endeavor to supply the very best, most competitive rates for our services, however you are completely entitled to go elsewhere if you wish.
Just bear in mind that we provide a fully insured, well trained and professional staff and well maintained vehicles and tools. If you receive a quote that drastically undercuts ours, it will only be possible because one or more of the above has been compromised on.
So just bear in mind that if an estimate seems too good to be true, it may well be just that, and what seems cheap upfront could end up costing you more in the long run.
When can you start?
We fully understand that speed is often of the essence during junk removal and hauling. After all, if you’ve just had construction work done and you’ve got a pile of rubble and debris cluttering up your driveway, you want it gone as soon as possible.
If you are one of the 25% of Americans whose garage is so stuffed with junk you can’t even park your car inside it, when you make the decision to rectify this you want the work done quickly and efficiently.
We understand this, and we will always work hard to get the work started as soon as possible. When you contact us for an estimate, our staff will also be able to advise you of our availability over the upcoming days and weeks.
Is your staff up to the challenge?
Heck yes they are!
All of our staff are highly trained and experienced. This means that no matter the job you have in mind, our staff are up to the challenge.
If it is the simple collection of junk, trash or construction debris from outside your property then we’ve got your covered.
If you need assistance with the junk, such as light demolition work or dismantling of things like furniture, our staff are up to that challenge too.
What’s more, we ensure that our vehicles and our staff’s tools are all well maintained and renewed when necessary.
We strongly feel that this combination – well trained staff, effective tools, suitable vehicles – means that we can provide a top quality service to you, every time.
Will you help out after you’ve taken the junk away?
If you mean by painting walls or shampooing the carpet then no, I’m afraid you’re out of luck!
What we will do is, where possible, try to leave the area as clean as we can. We achieve this in two ways.
Firstly, our staff will always try to clean an area after the junk is removed, whether by hosing down outside spaces, or a sweep with a brush.
Secondly, and more importantly, our staff try to keep messes down to a minimum in the first place. They use their skills and training to devise the best routes for getting the junk off your property and to our vehicles without trailing messes everywhere.
They will put down protective material where possible, and ensure that where junk is small and loose, it is packed and transported in a way that, again, is designed to minimize spillages.
How do you dispose of the junk?
Well over half the junk and trash collected in the United States today ends up in landfill, a situation that we find unacceptable.
We are therefore proud to work closely with a number of waste management companies in the local area to ensure that as much as possible of the junk and trash we collect is recycled.
